By reputation, East African washed coffees are refined and balanced. The Nura Kurate Cooperative is located in the Dara district adjacent to neighboring Kenya at an altitude of nearly 6,000 feet and produces luscious, lightly lemony coffees with warm cocoa and honey notes and a clean flowery aroma. Here at CUP, we roast this coffee on the light side to preserve its volatile aromatics and vibrant character.
